They saw the spark, tried to snuff it out,
But my fire ain't one to flicker in doubt.
Winds may blow, storms may rise,
Yet I blaze on, fueled by skies.
FLAMES & FAITH: The Fire That Won’t Be Quenched (part four) - poetry,poetry series,series,gospel poems,clean poetry,rhythm,
They thought me weak, a candle swayed,
But faith is fire that never fades.
Not by sight, but steps divine,
I walk through flames, yet still I shine.
Enemies whisper, plotting schemes,
Throwing shadows, choking dreams.
But light outshines, truth prevails,
Even in war, my fire sails.
Liquid fire flows through veins,
Burning doubts, consuming chains.
Walls of glory stand behind,
Faith ignites the fiercest kind.
The sword I wield is not of steel,
But words that cut, that mend, that heal.
Giants crumble, mountains bow,
Before the fire that burns me now.
Satan rages, but I don’t flinch,
This holy fire won’t be quenched.
Christ in me, my soul's delight,
A torch ablaze in endless night.
So let them come, let hell conspire,
I'll rise in flames—refined, inspired.
For faith is fire, bold and free,
And it burns forever inside of me.
